REDEFINE YOUR WORDS
This is the deep, prophetic encouragement that Elohim has been whispering over my heart for a while now.
We’re all familiar with the concept of men & women using the same words that have different meanings. The language of “Mars vs Venus” is often discussed when differing sexes try to understand each other.
The only solution to “syncing” language understanding is COMMUNICATION & CONVERSATION.
We must talk to each other, without presimption, in order to learn what we mean.
Australia & America both use the English language, yet still have unique meanings to similar words. We all know this.
So then, let us not presume to understand a different Faith culture without first having a GRACE FILLED CONVERSATION.
For example: let me share two alternate definitions to two highly offensive words, just to get the conversation started, where before there may only have been condemning presumption.
This is a trigger word that often insights presumptions of pure evil.
When witchcraft is condemned in the Bible, it’s talking about the practice of overtly calling upon the power of hatred, jealousy, fear, and malice to gain power. This dark power was used to cause division (gossip) and accusation with malicious intent toward those who promoted Love, Joy, and Peace as tenets of the Kingdom of Divine Grace.
This is a trigger word that often insights presumptions of snobbish piety, condemning judgement, and controlling of the masses.
When a vast majority of the modern population hear this word they understand only hatred, manipulation, hypocrisy, insipid insincerity, and judgement against anyone who is different to some ridiculous standard of scandal that no one is capable of achieving without false pretense and lies.
ARE YOU SHOCKED BY ANY OF THESE DEFINITIONS?
What if we step away from these trigger words and accusatory explanations and instead seek to have a CONVERSATION WITH THE HEART?
There are many who overtly practice FAITH through humility, compassion, grace, and unconditional Love. In the privacy of their hearts, these practices can be listed under the following lifestyle “labels” of: Protestantism, Catholicism, Paganism, Islam, Buddhist, Hindu, and even Atheist tenants… BUT ESSENTIALLY THEY’RE ALL THE SAME!
We humans just (too often) get hung up on what we think a word means without first having a conversation to find out what the other person believes that word to mean.
SO LET’S TALK!!!!!
I LOVE YOU.
Let’s practice our Love in Joy, Peace, Patience, Kindness, Goodness, Faithfulness, Gentleness, and Self-Discipline, together.
And if we can’t get along because we’re still trying to figure out each other’s meanings – and this takes TIME- then build a barrier or a bunker for a season that may then be rebuilt into a bridge in another season, or vice versa.
IT’S OK TO BE DIFFERENT AND LET OTHERS BE DIFFERENT.
Unity does not equal the Same.
Unity is Harmony- differing notes making melody together.
